We are looking for an experienced and responsible Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee the daily housekeeping operations and ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, safety, and orderliness throughout the hospital. The candidate will supervise housekeeping staff, coordinate cleaning activities, manage supplies, and ensure compliance with hospital hygiene and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and manage the daily activities of the housekeeping team.

- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene across patient rooms, corridors, public areas, offices, and other hospital facilities.

- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and standard operating procedures.

- Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are maintained.

- Train, guide, and monitor housekeeping staff on proper cleaning procedures and best practices.

- Identify and address staff performance issues when required.

- Maintain adequate stock of cleaning materials, chemicals, equipment, and other housekeeping supplies.

- Coordinate with the procurement/stores team for timely availability of housekeeping supplies.





- Handle complaints and requests related to housekeeping services professionally and promptly.

- Coordinate with nursing, administration, maintenance, and other departments for cleaning requirements.

- Maintain records of housekeeping activities, staff attendance, inspections, and performance.

- Ensure compliance with hospital health, safety, hygiene, infection-control, and company policies.

- Monitor proper usage and maintenance of housekeeping equipment.

- Promote effective communication and teamwork within the housekeeping department.

Eligibility

- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management is required.
