Company Description Blasto Metal Spray Processors Pvt. Ltd., established in 2004, is a heavy engineering facility specializing in large-scale CNC machining for wind turbine castings ranging from 1MT to 20MT per component. The company manufactures heavy fabricated structures and frames tailored to customer specifications and requirements.

It is also specialized in advanced surface preparation and coating processes, supporting high-performance industrial applications. An in-house CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) facility enables accurate measurement and quality control. All key machining, fabrication, and inspection capabilities are available under one roof, offering integrated solutions to clients.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai for a Horizontal Machining Center Maintenance Engineer. The role involves performing routine and corrective maintenance on horizontal machining centers to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation. Daily tasks include troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, inspecting equipment, conducting preventive maintenance, and coordinating repairs to minimize downtime.

The engineer will maintain maintenance logs, monitor spare parts inventory, and collaborate with production, quality,



and engineering teams to support continuous improvement in equipment performance. The role also requires adherence to safety protocols and participation in maintenance planning and scheduling activities.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair for CNC and heavy industrial machinery.
- Proficiency in Maintenance Engineering with a focus on Horizontal Machining Centers and related systems.
- Experience in Preventive Maintenance, including planning, scheduling, and execution of maintenance programs.
- Hands-on expertise in Electrical Maintenance, including basic diagnostics of drives, motors, sensors, and control panels.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering (or equivalent technical qualification).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, machine manuals, and maintenance documentation.
- Working knowledge of safety standards and best practices in heavy engineering environments.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on-site.
- Prior experience in CNC machining centers or heavy engineering facilities is highly beneficial.
