About the Role

Hotel Golden Peacock is looking for a Housekeeping & Room Attendant to help maintain clean, comfortable, and well-presented guest rooms and common areas.

The ideal candidate should be responsible, polite, detail-oriented, and comfortable working as part of a hotel housekeeping team.

Key Responsibilities

Clean and maintain guest rooms according to hotel standards.

Change bed linen, towels, and other room supplies as required.

Clean and maintain bathrooms, floors, furniture, and room fixtures.

Replenish guest amenities and housekeeping supplies.

Maintain cleanliness in assigned hotel areas.

Report maintenance issues, damaged items, or missing supplies to the appropriate supervisor.

Follow proper procedures for handling cleaning materials and equipment.

Support the housekeeping team during busy periods and room turnover.

Handle guest belongings and hotel property responsibly.

Follow hotel cleanliness, hygiene, and safety procedures.

Requirements





Previous housekeeping or hotel experience is preferred.

Freshers may also be considered based on suitability.

Basic understanding of cleaning and room-maintenance procedures.

Valuable personal hygiene and a responsible attitude.

Ability to work well with a team.

Polite and professional behaviour with guests and colleagues.

Ability to perform routine housekeeping duties in a timely manner.
