Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic HR professional to lead the HR, Administration and Industrial Relations function at our Wada location. The role will be responsible for managing end-to-end HR operations, workforce planning, employee relations, industrial relations, statutory compliance and site administration.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in managing HR functions in a plant/manufacturing environment , excellent stakeholder-management skills and the ability to independently handle employee and labour-related matters.
Key Responsibilities
1. HR Operations & Workforce Planning
- Lead end-to-end HR operations for the location, including manpower planning, recruitment, onboarding, employee lifecycle management and HR administration.
- Partner with business and functional HODs to understand manpower requirements and support organisation and workforce planning.
1. Industrial & Employee Relations
- Drive Industrial Relations (IR) and Employee Relations activities at the site.
- Handle employee grievances, counselling, disciplinary matters and conflict resolution effectively.
- Maintain positive employee relations and support a productive and engaged workforce.
1. HR Processes & Employee Lifecycle
- Ensure smooth onboarding, induction, attendance, leave management, payroll inputs and maintenance of employee records.
- Ensure HR policies and processes are implemented consistently across the location.
1. Performance & Employee Development
- Drive performance management processes, training and capability-building initiatives.
- Implement employee engagement and welfare initiatives to improve employee satisfaction and retention.
1. HR Analytics & Productivity
- Monitor and analyse manpower costs, absenteeism, attrition, overtime and productivity metrics.
- Prepare regular HR MIS and provide data-driven insights and recommendations to senior management.
1. Administration & Employee Welfare
- Oversee site administration and employee welfare activities, including facilities, transport, canteen, security and other support services.
- Ensure smooth day-to-day administrative operations at the location.
1. Statutory & Labour Compliance
- Coordinate statutory and labour-related documentation and ensure timely compliance.
- Support labour inspections, audits and other regulatory requirements as necessary.
1. Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor and develop the HR/Admin team.
- Ensure timely and effective execution of all HR processes and initiatives.

Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should be an MBA/PG in HR with 10–15 years of relevant experience , preferably from a manufacturing/plant environment, with strong hands-on exposure to Industrial Relations, Labour Relations, HR Operations, Administration and statutory compliance . The candidate should be mature, people-oriented and capable of handling complex employee and labour-related matters while effectively partnering with business leadership.
