Role & responsibilities
1. End-to-End Comprehensive Planning: Strategically plan and manage the availability of finished goods (FG), semi-finished goods (SFG), raw materials, reagents and equipment spares to support uninterrupted domestic and international operations.
2. Production Scheduling & Forecasting: Prepare monthly FG and SFG production plans based on historical movement and forecast data, coordinate submissions to production teams, and release/monitor production orders to maintain target stock levels for key revenue-generating items.
3. Inventory Control & Accuracy: Monitor and control inventory levels across all categories in line with organizational norms, consumption patterns, stock trends, and variance analysis to implement corrective actions and improve overall inventory control.
4. Master Data & MIS Management: Maintain and update Management Information Systems (MIS) for materials, reagents, and spares by ensuring correct descriptions, accurate master data, and the elimination of duplicate or alternate codes.
5. Subcontracting & Export Operations: Manage subcontracting production orders (including timely material issuance, store coordination, and receipt tracking) alongside overseeing export order processing, documentation, and dispatch activities aligned with delivery schedules.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate effective communication and coordination between QC/QA/Calibration, Production, Distribution, and Logistics teams to streamline day-to-day operations.

Requirement Analysis & Procurement Support: Oversee requirement collection from domestic and international teams, analyze past sales/consumption data, and formulate data-backed purchase recommendations.
8. Availability Tracking, 5S & Continuous Improvement: Track and report item availability statuses (including out-of-stock cases), drive 5S practices across the PPIC function to achieve targeted audit scores, and champion continuous process improvement initiatives. Appoint the right channel network to maintain strong relationships with KOLs and industry partners
Preferred candidate profile
- Education: Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree / MBA in Operations or Supply Chain is preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 8 to 12 years of progressive experience in PPIC (Production Planning, Inventory Control), supply chain management, or manufacturing operations, with at least 3-5 years in a senior leadership capacity.
- Advanced mastery of end-to-end material planning, Proven expertise in production scheduling, forecasting methodologies, and inventory control frameworks.
- Robust familiarity with Master Data Management (MIS), ERP systems (such as SAP/Oracle), and material code optimization.
- Exceptional analytical skills, strong leadership capabilities, effective cross-functional communication, and the ability to manage complex domestic and international supply chain operations
