Role Description The Head of Finance Department is a full-time, on-site role based in Dharamshala. This role oversees all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis to support strategic decision-making. The Head of Finance Department is responsible for preparing and reviewing financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and maintaining robust internal controls.

Day-to-day tasks include managing cash flow, monitoring financial performance, collaborating with senior leadership on financial strategy,



and supporting audits and risk management processes. The role also involves leading and mentoring the finance team, optimizing processes, and contributing to long-term financial planning aligned with the company’s growth objectives.

Qualifications

- Solid foundation in Finance with proven experience in managing organizational finances and financial governance.
- Ability to prepare, review, and interpret Financial Statements and perform accurate Financial Reporting.
- Demonstrated expertise in Budgeting and financial planning to support short- and long-term business goals.
- Advanced Analytical Skills to evaluate financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CPA, CMA) are an advantage.
- Experience leading a finance team, preferably in travel, hospitality, or service industries, with strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency with financial management software and advanced spreadsheet skills; familiarity with ERP systems is beneficial.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work on-site in Dharamshala with a collaborative, results-oriented mindset.
