CoE Lead – HR Operations Excellence

Jindal India Limited (BC Jindal Group) is looking for a strategic and execution-focused HR Operations Excellence leader to build and drive a standardized, compliant, technology-enabled and employee-centric HR Operations function.

Key Responsibilities:

- Establish and govern a standardized HR Operations framework, including processes, SOPs, SLAs, roles and accountability, and operational controls across the organization.
- Experience in managing HR operations for diverse workforce categories, i.e., Managerial and Non-managerial staff (Supervisor and Workmen cadre) as well as contract/outsourcedworkforce.
- Drive C&B; strategy and governance, covering compensation, payroll, perks, reimbursements, advances, and Full & Final settlements.
- Lead end-to-end payroll operations across in-house and outsourced models, including payroll governance, process controls, and vendor management.
- Build a seamless employee experience through defined service standards, effective query and grievance resolution mechanisms, and improved HR service delivery.
- Drive HR technology and HCM governance, including digitization, automation, process simplification, centralization, benchmarking, and continuous improvement.




- Ensure payroll and statutory compliance, Labour Code implementation, audit readiness, timely closure of audit observations, and mitigation of HR operational risks.
- Ability to manage complexity and navigate ambiguity, demonstrating strong ownership, perseverance, problem-solving skills, execution focus, and a self-driven approach.

- Experience 15-20 years of relevant experience, preferably in large corporate/ manufacturing environments in HR Operations, C&B;, and end-to-end Payroll Management

- Preferred Candidate – Strong expertise in HR Operations, policy and process design and governance, statutory compliance, Labour Code implementation, HRMS/HCM, dashboards, analytics, automation, stakeholder management, and execution. Candidates with a shorter notice period will be preferred.
