Kalawati Steels is a 50-year-old steel, TMT and building-materials business in Varanasi, opening a flagship one-stop building-material store and running hotels alongside. We have never had an in-house marketing person. You would be the first, and you would own the brand completely.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is an all-in-one branding and marketing role. You design it, you create it, you publish it, you market it. Catalogues and visiting cards that go to print, our Instagram page, product shoots, festival creatives, ads and local SEO - all of it sits with you, and none of it sits with an agency.

We are being upfront: this is a wide role, and we want someone who genuinely does most of it rather than someone who lists all of it on a CV. Tell us honestly which side you are strongest on and we will build the rest around you.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Design and print - the core of this role

- Multi-page product catalogues and price lists across TMT, structural steel, cement, sheets and hardware - concept, layout, artwork, proofing, print.
- Visiting cards, letterheads, brochures, pamphlets and leaflets.
- Banners, hoardings, flex boards and shop signage, as correct print-ready files.
- Handle prepress properly: CMYK, bleed, crop marks, resolution, outlined fonts.
- Coordinate directly with local printers and press vendors, check physical proofs, and own the final output quality.

Content and social
- Run our Instagram page end to end - posts, reels, stories, festival and offer creatives.
- Shoot and edit product photos and short videos at our store and at sites.




- Write captions and marketing copy in Hindi and English.
- Build and hold a monthly content calendar, and actually publish to it.
- Grow the page with real, local, relevant followers, not bought numbers.

Ads, SEO and brand
- Run Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns within a monthly budget.
- Manage our Google Business Profile and local Varanasi SEO.
- Basic website content updates.
- Maintain logos, brand colours, typography, templates and the master design file library.
- Keep the look consistent across the steel business and the hotels.
- Report monthly on reach, leads, spend and cost per lead.

Launch
- Support the store launch campaign - creatives, coordination with videographers and creators, and inauguration collateral.

PREFERRED CANDIDATE PROFILE
- 0 to 5 years in graphic design. Freshers with a robust portfolio are welcome.
- CorelDRAW and Adobe Photoshop - non-negotiable. You must produce print-ready artwork independently, especially multi-page catalogues.
- Hands-on Instagram management including reels and short-form editing.
- Working knowledge of Google Ads or Meta Ads and local SEO.
- Able to work completely independently. You are the marketing department, not part of one.
- Based in Varanasi, working from our office, building a career here.

WHAT WE OFFER
- Rs 20,000 to Rs 30,000 per month depending on how much of this you genuinely cover. Higher will be considered for an exceptional candidate with a strong portfolio.

- Real budget to run campaigns, not just plan them.
