Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic, strategic, and result-oriented GM – Construction with 12 to 15 years of proven experience in managing large-scale construction projects. In this role, you will oversee the complete lifecycle of multiple projects from inception to handover, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage high-value stakeholder relationships, and drive operational excellence across all sites.

Key Responsibilities

Project Execution & Operations

- Project Lifecycle Management: Oversee end-to-end planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of multiple construction projects simultaneously.
- Timeline Enforcement: Develop macro and micro project schedules, ensuring strict adherence to milestones.
- Quality & Safety Assurance: Enforce stringent Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) and Health, Safety, and Setting (HSE) standards across all sites.

Financial & Budgetary Control

- Profit & Loss (P&L;) Accountability: Manage project budgets, cash flows, and resource allocation to maximize profitability.
- Cost Optimization: Monitor construction costs, approve major expenditures, and implement value engineering strategies to minimize waste.

Strategic Leadership & Vendor Management

- Team Leadership: Guide and mentor Project Managers, Site Engineers, and technical teams to foster a high-performance culture.
- Procurement & Contracts:



Collaborate with procurement teams to finalize high-value vendor contracts, sub-contractors, and material suppliers.
- Billing & Claims: Oversee sub-contractor billing, variations, and dispute resolutions effectively.

Stakeholder & Regulatory Compliance

- Client Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, consultants, and management, providing transparent progress updates.
- Statutory Approvals: Ensure all projects comply with local building codes, legal regulations, and government authorities.

Required Qualifications & Skills Education & Experience

- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (Required).
- Master’s Degree in Construction Management or an MBA (Highly Preferred).
- 12 to 15 years of core construction experience, with at least 3 to 5 years in a senior leadership role (e.g., AGm, Project Head, or GM).

Technical & Operational Skills

- Project Portfolio: Proven track record of successfully delivering high-rise residential, commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
- Software Proficiency: Strong understanding of project management tools like MSP (Microsoft Project), Primavera, or ERP software.
- Contract Management: Deep knowledge of FIDIC conditions, labor laws, and contracting legalities.

Soft Skills

- Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong negotiation and conflict-resolution skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to influence C-suite stakeholders.

Pay: ₹1,800,000.00 - ₹2,500,000.00 per year
