What You'll Do The Global Digital Marketing Analytics Senior Analyst is a hands-on analytical practitioner who serves as the dedicated analytics resource across BCG's digital marketing channel teams — including email, paid media, web, content, and beyond. This person is embedded in the day-to-day rhythm of channel execution and campaign delivery, providing the analytical support, performance interpretation, and data-driven guidance that helps channel teams make smarter decisions about how they plan, optimize, and evolve their activations.

This is not a reporting role.

The Senior

Specialist goes beyond pulling numbers to actively interpreting what channel data means, identifying what is and is not working across the channel mix, and translating those findings into clear, actionable recommendations that channel strategists and campaign managers can act on in real time. This person is a trusted analytical partner to multiple channel teams simultaneously — organized enough to manage a broad portfolio of analytical support needs, and sharp enough to add genuine strategic value to each one.

Channel Performance Analysis & Insight

- Serve as the primary analytics partner across digital marketing channel teams — including email, paid media, web, social, and content — providing hands-on analytical support that helps each team understand and act on their performance data

- Analyze channel performance data on an ongoing basis, going beyond surface metrics to identify trends, anomalies, and patterns that reveal what is driving or limiting channel effectiveness across campaigns and activations

- Translate channel data findings into clear, actionable insight narratives that channel teams can use to make immediate optimization decisions — explaining not just what the numbers show but what they mean and what should change as a result

- Develop a working understanding of how each channel's data behaves — its quirks, its limitations, its attribution challenges, and its most meaningful performance signals — so that analytical conclusions are always grounded in an accurate picture of what the data can and cannot tell you

- Proactively surface channel performance insights to channel leads and campaign managers without waiting to be asked, identifying inflection points, underperformance signals, and optimization opportunities as they emerge

Campaign & Activation Analytics Support

- Support the analytics needs of active marketing campaigns across the channel mix — providing pre-campaign audience and benchmarking analysis, in-flight performance monitoring, and post-campaign measurement and insight synthesis

- Build and maintain campaign performance trackers and channel scorecards that give channel and campaign teams clear, current visibility into how activations are performing against goals across all relevant metrics

- Conduct cross-channel campaign analyses that connect the dots between how audiences are engaging across email, paid, web, and other digital touchpoints — identifying patterns in cross-channel behavior that inform how campaigns should be sequenced, optimized, or adjusted mid-flight

- Contribute to post-campaign retrospectives by preparing well-structured performance summaries and insight outputs that capture what worked, what did not, and what the data recommends for future activations

Channel Strategy Insight & Optimization

- Partner with channel leads and CX strategists to bring analytical perspective into channel strategy conversations to inform how channels are planned, invested in, and evolved over time

- Conduct deeper analytical investigations when channel performance raises strategic questions

- Identify recurring performance patterns across channels and campaigns that point to systemic optimization opportunities — bringing these findings forward with clear recommendations rather than simply observing them

- Support channel investment and prioritization conversations with data — preparing analytical inputs that help marketing leadership understand where channel spend and effort are generating the strongest return

Data Pulling, Validation & Reporting

- Extract, validate, and prepare channel performance data from across BCG's digital marketing technology stack — including Adobe Analytics, Marketo, Sprinklr, SEMRush, Demandbase, ad network platforms, CRM, and other relevant sources — ensuring accuracy and consistency before any analysis or output is produced

- Write SQL queries against the marketing master dataset in Snowflake to access audience and engagement data that supplements platform-level reporting, expanding the analytical picture available for channel insight work

- Build and maintain recurring channel reporting outputs — dashboards, scorecards, and performance summaries — that keep channel teams consistently informed without requiring manual analytical effort for every update

- Apply rigorous data validation habits to all analytical work — checking figures, interrogating unexpected results, and never presenting numbers to stakeholders without confidence in their accuracy

Enablement & Analytical Standards

- Develop and maintain channel-specific metric glossaries, reporting templates, and analytical reference guides that help channel teams interpret their own data more independently and consistently

- Contribute to the development of shared analytical standards across the marketing analytics function — ensuring that metrics, definitions, and performance benchmarks are applied consistently across channels and campaigns

- Support the onboarding of channel team members onto analytics tools and reporting outputs, helping new colleagues understand how to read and use the data available to them

What You'll Bring

- 3–5 years of experience in a digital marketing analytics, channel analytics, or marketing data role, with hands-on experience analyzing performance data across at least two or more digital marketing channels — email, paid media, web, social, or equivalent

- Solid working knowledge of the digital marketing channel landscape — how each channel works, what its key performance metrics are, how attribution and measurement differ across channels, and how audience behavior connects across touchpoints

- Hands-on experience working with marketing analytics platforms including at least several of the following: Adobe Analytics, Marketo, Sprinklr, SEMRush, Demandbase, Google Analytics, paid media ad network reporting platforms, or equivalent

- Solid SQL skills at a querying and analysis level, with the ability to independently access and interrogate marketing datasets in Snowflake or a comparable cloud data warehouse environment

- Proficiency in Tableau or a comparable data visualization platform for building and maintaining channel performance dashboards and analytical outputs

- Strong data validation instincts and attention to detail — you check your own work, interrogate unexpected results, and take accuracy seriously before anything goes to a stakeholder

- Clear, confident communication skills with the ability to present channel performance findings and recommendations to channel leads, campaign managers, and senior marketing stakeholders in a way that is accessible, structured, and actionable

- Experience working in a fast-moving, campaign-driven marketing environment where analytical support needs shift quickly and responsiveness matters

- Familiarity with A/B testing methodology and the ability to interpret test results accurately and communicate findings clearly

- Experience working in an Agile or sprint-based environment preferred

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Data Analytics, Statistics, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

Who You'll Work With

This role sits within BCG's Global Marketing analytics function and operates as a shared analytical resource across the digital marketing channel teams. Day to day, your closest working relationships are with the channel leads, managers, and leads across email, paid media, web, events, and content — the people whose campaign and activation shapes your analytical work is designed to sharpen and inform. You will be present in their planning conversations, their optimization reviews, and their campaign retrospectives, bringing data to the table at the moments when it matters most.

Within the analytics function, you will work closely with the Senior Manager and Director of Marketing Analytics, contributing channel-level analytical output that feeds into the broader audience and performance insight picture the function produces for senior marketing leadership. You will also collaborate with dashboard and data engineering colleagues when channel reporting needs require new data pipelines or expanded Snowflake access, and with CRM data operations colleagues when audience and contact data underpins channel targeting or segmentation analysis.

This is a role for someone who genuinely enjoys the variety and pace of working across multiple channels simultaneously — who finds satisfaction in being the person a channel team turns to when the data raises a question they cannot answer on their own, and who takes pride in giving them an answer that actually changes what they do next.

Additional info

YOU'RE GOOD AT

- Getting into the data quickly and knowing what you are looking for — you have solid analytical instincts developed across enough channel experience that you notice when something looks off, when a trend is significant, and when a number needs to be investigated before it gets presented

- Working across multiple channels and analytical workstreams simultaneously without losing quality or momentum — you are organized, prioritize well, and deliver reliably across a busy and varied portfolio of analytical support needs

- Translating channel performance data into plain language that channel managers and campaign teams can act on — you don't hide behind technical terminology or data caveats, you give people the insight they need to make a decision

- Being a genuine partner to channel teams rather than a report factory — you show up to conversations with a perspective, ask clarifying questions that sharpen the analytical brief, and add value beyond the specific output that was requested

- Moving fluidly across the digital channel landscape — you are comfortable switching from an email performance analysis to a paid media attribution question to a web engagement funnel in the same day, and you bring enough channel-specific knowledge to each that your analysis is grounded and credible

- Knowing the difference between a data issue and a performance issue — you have the technical discipline to validate your data before drawing conclusions, and the intellectual honesty to say when the data is not clean enough to support the insight being requested

At BCG, our people and relationships are at the heart of everything we do. We believe that in-person collaboration plays an important role in our culture, mentorship, and professional development. For this role, you will generally be expected to work from a BCG office or in person with clients on a regular basis (typically around 50% of working time), depending on business needs and in line with local policies and practices.

We aim to provide a dynamic and collaborative environment that fosters connection and teamwork.
