Key Responsibilities

Financial Close &

- Reporting

- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process to ensure compliance with Indian GAAP standards.
- Prepare and review manual journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and recurring schedules.
- Preparation of financial statements, variance analysis (Actuals vs.Budget), and management commentary. E-commerce &
- Revenue Accounting

- Reconcile marketplace settlements (Amazon, Flipkart, Shopify, payment gateways like Razor pay/Stripe) against internal order management systems (OMS).
- Account for commission costs, promotional discounts, shipping fees, chargebacks, and refund/return reserves.
- Manage deferred revenue and accurate revenue recognition timing.

Inventory &
- Cost Accounting

- Collaborate with supply chain teams to track Inventory (COGS, write-offs, landed cost allocations, and transit stock).
- Perform periodic physical inventory vs. book balance reconciliations across fulfillment centers (3PL/FBA).
- Compliance &




- Audits

- Manage Intercompany transactions, adjustments, and balance confirmation exercises.
- Ensure compliance with direct/indirect tax requirements (GST, TCS/TDS, Sales Tax).
- Act as the main point of contact for internal, external, and statutory audits.

Requirements

Key Qualifications &

Skills

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or CA Iner-mediate Or CA Article completed
- Experience: 5–8 years of experience in general ledger accounting, with at least 2–3 years in an e-commerce, retail, or D2C workplace.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Tally ERP systems and high- volume data handling in Microsoft Excel / SQL.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of payment gateway flows,marketplace fee structures, logistics accruals, and indirect taxation rules.
