General Surgeon – Consultant

Krishna Hospitals, Vijayawada is looking for an experienced and dedicated General Surgeon to join our multidisciplinary team.

Consultant General Surgeon

Qualification

- MBBS + MS/DNB in General Surgery
- Valid medical registration
- Experience in a multispeciality hospital preferred

Key Responsibilities
- Manage OPD and IPD patients independently
- Perform elective and emergency general surgical procedures
- Conduct pre-operative assessment and post-operative care
- Handle surgical emergencies and trauma cases
- Perform laparoscopic and open procedures
- Coordinate with other specialties for multidisciplinary patient care
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure quality & safety protocols
- Participate in hospital camps, clinical meetings and professional development activities

Preferred Skills
- Good clinical and surgical decision-making
- Laparoscopic surgery skills preferred
- Ability to manage emergencies
- Strong communication and patient-counselling skills
- Team-oriented approach
