- MBBS degree with a recognized postgraduate qualification in General Surgery (MS/Chirurgie)
- Valid registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or relevant state medical council
- Minimum of 1 year of post-graduate surgical experience in a hospital or clinical setting
- Proven proficiency in performing common general surgical procedures including appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernia repair, and bowel resections
- Solid clinical decision-making, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in fast-paced, high-stakes environments
- Commitment to patient safety, ethical practice, and continuous learning
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and digital health tools
