Roles & Responsibility

- Project planning: Develop project execution plans, schedules, milestones, manpower requirements, and budgets.

- End-to-end execution: Oversee engineering, procurement, construction, installation, testing, and commissioning of solar projects.

- Team leadership: Manage project managers, site teams, engineers, contractors, and vendors.

- Cost control: Monitor project budgets, CAPEX, material consumption, productivity, and cost overruns.

- Procurement & vendors: Coordinate with procurement and suppliers for modules, inverters, structures, cables, transformers, SCADA, and other equipment.

- EPC/contractor management: Review contractor performance, contracts, progress, billing, and claims.

- Quality & safety: Ensure compliance with quality standards, HSE requirements, and applicable electrical/construction regulations.

- Stakeholder management:



Coordinate with clients, DISCOMs/utilities, consultants, government authorities, lenders, and internal management.

- Project monitoring: Track progress using KPIs such as MW installed, schedule adherence, cost variance, productivity, quality, and safety.

- Grid connectivity & commissioning: Coordinate evacuation infrastructure, testing, synchronization, performance testing, and commercial operation.

- Risk management: Identify project risksland, approvals, supply chain, weather, grid issues, contractors—and develop mitigation plans.

- Management reporting: Present project status, risks, financial position, and recovery plans to senior management.
