Role Description The General Manager (Real Estate Accounts) will oversee end-to-end financial management for multiple real estate projects, ensuring accurate accounting, compliance, and timely reporting. This full-time, on-site role is based in Pune and involves managing project-wise budgeting, cash flows, and cost tracking, as well as supervising accounts teams and coordinating with project, sales, and leadership stakeholders. Daily responsibilities include reviewing ledgers, monitoring receivables and payables, ensuring statutory compliance (such as GST, TDS, and RERA-related financial requirements), and preparing MIS reports and dashboards for management review.





The role will also drive process improvements in accounting systems, support audits, manage banking relationships, and contribute to financial planning for new and ongoing developments.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong real estate accounting and finance skills, including project accounting, budgeting, cash flow management, and cost control. ( CA or CFO level preferred )
- Candidates should possess solid compliance and regulatory skills, covering tax (GST, TDS), statutory reporting, and familiarity with real estate-specific regulations and audit processes.
- Candidates should possess team leadership and stakeholder management skills, with experience in supervising accounts staff and collaborating with project, sales, and senior management teams.
- Candidates should possess analytical and reporting skills, including proficiency in MIS reporting, financial analysis, and use of accounting software and Excel.
- Candidates should possess strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain high standards of accuracy and integrity.
- Skilled qualification such as CA, CMA, MBA (Finance), or equivalent relevant degree is preferred; prior experience in real estate or construction accounting will be an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Pune, with a hands-on approach, problem-solving mindset, and openness to improving systems and processes.
- Real estate industry is preferred.
