We are seeking an experienced Fund Manager to lead investment strategy, portfolio management, and performance delivery for its Category II AIF. This is a senior, high-ownership role reporting directly to the MD, with full accountability for the fund's investment outcomes, regulatory compliance, and investor confidence.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own end-to-end fund strategy — stock/instrument selection, portfolio construction, and momentum/quant or discretionary model execution

- Deliver consistent, benchmark-beating risk-adjusted returns while operating within the fund's stated investment mandate

- Design and enforce a robust risk management framework — position sizing, drawdown limits, exposure caps, and stress testing

- Ensure full compliance with SEBI AIF Category II regulations, including PPM adherence and investment restrictions

- Coordinate closely with compliance, custodian, RTA, and auditors on NAV computation, valuation policy, and periodic audits

- Prepare and present fund performance, attribution, and outlook to investors, HNIs, family offices, and institutional LPs





- Lead investor due-diligence conversations and represent the fund credibly in fundraising and onboarding discussions

- Build and mentor a small investment/research team as AUM scales

- Monitor macro, sector, and company-level developments to inform tactical portfolio decisions

- Maintain meticulous, audit-ready documentation of every investment decision and rationale

- Partner with the MD and leadership on AUM growth strategy, new share-class or strategy launches, and long-term fund positioning.

Requirements:

- Minimum 10 years of experience managing AIF / PMS / mutual fund portfolios

- Verifiable, audited track record — not self-reported or backtested performance

- Robust working knowledge of SEBI AIF Category II regulations and compliance obligations

- CFA / CA / MBA (Finance) preferred

- Experience with momentum or quant-driven equity strategies is a strong plus

- Proven ability to build and retain investor trust across HNI, family office, and institutional segments

- Excellent written and verbal communication for investor reporting and presentations
