CIY (Craft It Yourself) is a modern arts and crafts supply store. We help people create ? from resin art and jewellery making to knitting, sewing, home dØcor and more ? through high-quality supplies and a helpful in-store experience.

Role Summary

You will drive daily store sales and give customers a super helpful, creative shopping experience. Your main job: talk to customers, understand what they want to make, suggest the right products, close the sale and make them come back again.

Key Responsibilities

Sales and Customer Service

- Greet every customer and understand their project or need.
- Suggest the right products, combos and DIY kits (upsell and cross-sell).
- Hit daily and weekly sales targets given by management.
- Handle billing, POS system and different payment modes (UPI, card, cash).
- Manage basic returns and exchanges as per store policy.

Product Knowledge
- Learn CIY product range: yarns, beads, fabrics, DIY kits, art supplies and more.
- Explain how products are used in simple language.
- Stay updated on new arrivals, offers and bestsellers.

Store Operations
- Keep shelves filled, clean and well arranged.
- Check stock and inform when items are low or quick moving.
- Help in pricing, tagging, barcoding and basic stock counting.
- Ensure store is neat, welcoming and on-brand at all times.

Customer Relationship




- Collect customer details (name, number, birthday, interests) in the system or sheet.
- Follow up with regular customers on WhatsApp or call for new arrivals and offers.
- Encourage feedback and share it with the management.

Basic Marketing Support
- Help create simple photos or videos of products or customer projects inside the store.
- Support in-store promotions, offers and small events or demos when needed.

Requirements Must-have
- 1 to 3 years experience in retail sales (fashion, lifestyle, crafts, stationery, gifts or

similar).
- Strong communication skills and comfort talking to different types of customers.
- Basic computer or mobile skills (WhatsApp, billing software, simple Sheets).
- Comfortable working on weekends, festivals and peak hours (weekday weekly off).
- Honest, reliable, punctual and willing to stand and move around most of the day.

Good-to-have
- Interest in art, craft, DIY, fashion, home dØcor or design.
- Experience in upselling and hitting sales targets.
- Local language skills: Marathi, Hindi and basic English (for Pune store).

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹14,000.00 per month
