Role Description The French Teacher is a full-time, in office position based at The International School of Thrissur in Thrissur. The role involves planning and delivering engaging French language lessons aligned with the Cambridge curriculum, using age-appropriate teaching methods and resources.

Responsibilities include assessing learner progress, providing constructive feedback, maintaining accurate records, and preparing learners for internal and external examinations.

The French

Teacher will create a positive, inclusive classroom environment, support co-curricular language activities, collaborate with colleagues and school leadership,



and engage in regular communication with parents and guardians. The role also includes participation in faculty meetings, professional development sessions, and school events as required.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in French Teaching and general Teaching, with the ability to deliver clear, engaging language instruction across relevant grade levels.
- Candidates should possess skills in Tutoring and Education, including individualized support, differentiated instruction, and learner-centered classroom practices.
- Candidates should possess experience or interest in Teacher Training, contributing to curriculum development, resource sharing, and collaborative professional growth.
- Relevant academic qualifications in French, Languages, Education, or a related field; advanced proficiency in spoken and written French and strong English communication skills.
- Experience with Cambridge or international curricula, classroom management, use of educational technology, and a commitment to inclusive, culturally responsive teaching.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams, maintain high standards of professionalism, and support the holistic development of learners.
