VL is Looking for:**** We are looking for an experienced FPGA Design Engineer with wireless communication industry background to contribute and oversee designs and development of high speed wireless communication systems from concept, creation, verification and integration.

The ideal candidate should have worked in RF based wireless communication industry domain preferably 3G/4G/WiFi/WiMax and should have the zeal for building new technologies with keen interest in research. Apart from excellent hands-on experience in RTL design, you should be well versed in different concepts of wireless communication, networking protocols, modulation/demodulation. VL shall assure you that there will be no limits of career growth if your passion level matches that of ours.

Responsibilities

- Contribute and oversee designs and development of wireless communication systems using FPGA implementation in VHDL or Verilog.




- Should be well versed in knowledge of current technical advancements and trends in the general field of FPGA and Multiple-Core microprocessor platforms and development tools.
- Produce unique solutions for technical challenges including, but not limited to VHDL and Verilog coding, communication system architecture.
- Spearhead technical project teams with overall responsibility for technical performance, cost and schedules.

Key Skills

- Minimum M.Tech or PG Certification in FPGA/RTL Design. Strong Academic background preferred (Masters, PhD)
- Strong knowledge of FPGA architecture design in Verilog, System Verilog and/or VHDL
- Experience in implementing high speed designs
- Verification skills
- Object oriented design and programming is a plus C/C++
- 3+ Years of Industry experience
- Strong understanding of modulation/demodulation techniques (QPSK, QAM, OFDM) etc.
- Strong fundamental knowledge of wireless communication concepts and mandatory experience in 3G/4G/WiFi/WiMax technologies.
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
