Role - Financial Planning & Analysis Experience - 3 - 6 Years Location - Bangalore Job Type - Contract for 1 Year Mode - WFO Roles & Responsibilities

- Handle various financial reporting activities and ensure timely and accurate submission of reports.
- Extract data and prepare SOX control reports and supporting evidence, including O2C 3.1, O2C 5.2, P2P 10.3, P2P 9.1, R2R 4.2, R2R 5.8 and R2R 4.3 controls.
- Provide day-to-day business and finance support to internal stakeholders throughout the month.
- Prepare and validate financial data required for post-closing reports.
- Perform cost center reviews, identify discrepancies and coordinate required corrections.
- Independently support month-end closing (MEC) activities, including:

- Journal entries (JE)

- Accruals

- Headcount (HC) reporting

- Account reconciliations
- Balance Sheet (BS) and Profit & Loss (P&L;) review
- Other month-end finance activities
- Handle charge-out and invoicing activities within defined timelines.
- Support Purchase Order (PO) creation and related finance processes.
- Handle and validate supplier invoices, ensuring accurate processing and resolution of discrepancies.
- Support forecasting and annual planning (APP) input and review activities.




- Handle IG-related finance activities during the month-end closing process.
- Perform account reconciliations and ensure balances are accurate and properly supported.
- Support P2P, O2C and R2R finance processes and related internal controls.
- Maintain appropriate documentation and ensure compliance with finance policies, SOX requirements and internal controls.
- Work closely with business, accounting and other stakeholders to resolve financial queries and complete activities within agreed timelines.
- 3 5 years of experience in Finance/Accounting/Finance Operations.
- Hands-on experience with SAP, preferably SAP FI/FICO.
- Experience in month-end closing and financial accounting activities.
- Positive exposure to SOX controls/internal controls.
- Experience in P2P, O2C and/or R2R processes.
- Knowledge of journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, BS/PL review and financial reporting.
- Experience with supplier invoices, POs, cost centers and invoicing is preferred.
- Strong Excel and financial data-handling skills.
- M.Com / MBA Finance / CMA / CA Inter or equivalent qualification preferred.
