Furnace

Setup & Melting Operations

- Weigh, verify, and load raw alloy charges and additives onto the melt platform according to exact batch sheets.

- Operate induction or electric arc furnaces safely to heat materials uniformly until they reach their designated melting points.

- Ensure absolute cleanliness of input materials and melting crucibles to prevent cross-contamination between different alloy runs. [1, 2, 3, 4]

Atomization Process

Control

- Set up, calibrate, and operate metal atomization systems (gas, water, or ultrasonic) according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

- Closely monitor and regulate critical process parameters, including melt temperature, gas/liquid pressure flow, atomizing nozzles, and collection rates.

- Adjust semi-automated or fully automated systems to target specific powder shapes, distributions, and particle sizes. [1, 2, 3]

3. Post-Processing & Quality Control

- Unload collected metal powders safely from the cooling and filtration chambers. [1, 2]

- Perform post-processing steps including mechanical sieving, screening, blending, and classification of powders to customer specifications. [1, 2]

- Conduct basic quality checks (such as checking flowability,



density, and particle size distribution) and package samples for comprehensive laboratory testing. [1]

- Accurately record production data, material inventory transactions, receipts, and run parameters in the digital tracking system. [1, 2]

4. Maintenance, Safety & Cleanliness

- Perform routine cleaning, basic maintenance, and troubleshooting on nozzles, furnaces, and filtration systems to keep operations running smoothly.

- Follow strict safety protocols for handling hazardous dust, explosive metal powders, and high-pressure gas systems.

- Utilize mandatory Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including respirators, heavy heat-resistant gear, and safety glasses.

- Comply with lockout/tagout (LOTO) and confined space entry requirements during system cleanouts

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate

- Maddur, Karnataka (Maddur, Mandya District): Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
