Maintenance fitter and Turner/ Welder is responsible for maintaining, repairing and installing various machinery and equipment in the plant. They will also need to perform tasks such as welding, turning, fitting and assembling.
He will have to be capable to do troubleshooting and diagnosing faults and breakdowns
Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on all machines
Operating machines and equipment such as lathes, milling machine, pedestal drill, grinders and welders
Reading and interpreting technical drawings
Need to be available for call outs to attend repairs on machines after working hours.
