Job Summary The Finishing Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all finishing works across project sites. The role involves contractor and vendor management, material procurement coordination, quality control, billing verification, site supervision, and ensuring timely completion of projects. The candidate will work closely with project teams, consultants, contractors, and Head Office departments to achieve project objectives while maintaining quality, cost, and schedule targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and manage all finishing works including flooring, tiling, painting, waterproofing, false ceiling, joinery, façade, and interior fit-out activities.

- Coordinate with RCC, MEP, and finishing teams to ensure seamless project execution.

- Manage multiple contractors and agencies, ensuring work is completed as per specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.

- Identify, evaluate, onboard, and finalize finishing contractors and specialized agencies based on project requirements.

- Prepare work orders and coordinate contract finalization with vendors and contractors.

- Closely coordinate with the Purchase Department for timely procurement and delivery of materials.

- Continuously explore recent finishing materials, products, and technologies available in the market and present recommendations to management.

- Monitor site progress, identify execution challenges, and implement practical solutions to avoid delays.

- Handle quantity estimation, measurement verification, and contractor bill certification.





- Coordinate with Planning & Estimation Engineers for final bill verification and approval processes.

- Negotiate rates and terms with vendors and subcontractors for effective cost management.

- Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.

- Work across multiple project sites and maintain regular monitoring of all ongoing activities.

- Prepare periodic progress reports and present updates to senior management.

- Conduct coordination and review meetings with contractors, vendors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.

- Support Project In charge in project planning, scheduling, execution, and monitoring activities.

- Perform any other project-related planning and execution responsibilities assigned by management.

Day-to-Day Activities

- Monitor daily site activities and ensure timely completion of finishing works.

- Coordinate with site teams, consultants, contractors, and Head Office departments.

- Review material requirements and follow up on procurement status.

- Conduct quality inspections and resolve site execution issues.

- Verify work measurements and contractor bills.

- Track project progress and prepare status reports.

- Attend project review meetings and provide updates on site activities.

- Identify new vendors, agencies, and materials to improve project execution efficiency.

- Ensure proper documentation of contracts, work orders, measurements, and billing records

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
