About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and results-oriented Finance Controller to lead the financial operations and reporting function of a growing organization in the Food & Beverage industry. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in financial management, accounting, reporting, budgeting, compliance, cost control, and financial planning.

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring financial accuracy, strengthening internal controls, supporting business decision-making, and maintaining compliance with applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee the complete finance and accounting function of the organization.
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing and reporting.
- Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, MIS, and financial analysis.
- Develop and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and cash-flow projections.
- Monitor revenue, expenses, profitability, working capital, and overall financial performance.
- Establish and maintain strong financial controls and accounting processes.
- Ensure timely statutory, tax, audit, and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors and ensure timely closure of audit requirements.
- Monitor accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory, and cash management.
- Analyze costs and identify opportunities for cost optimization and improved profitability.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management for business decisions.
- Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and fund requirements.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of accounting records and financial data.




- Support business expansion, financial planning, and strategic initiatives.
- Identify financial risks and implement appropriate mitigation and control measures.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the finance and accounting team.

Industry-Specific Expectations

Candidates with strong Finance/Accounts experience in the Food & Beverage industry will be preferred, particularly those familiar with:

- F&B; accounting and cost structures
- Inventory and stock controls
- Food cost and operational cost analysis
- Outlet/restaurant-level profitability
- Vendor and procurement-related finance
- Revenue reconciliation and controls
- Working capital management
- Budgeting and profitability analysis

Qualification
- CA (Chartered Accountant) preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, financial reporting, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP systems is required.

Experience & Skills
- 10–15 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts, preferably within the Food & Beverage industry.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent understanding of financial controls and accounting processes.
- Strong leadership and team-management capabilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work in a quick-paced and commercially driven environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work closely with senior management and business teams.
