Job Role - Finance Controller

Location - Noida, Ahmedabad, Mumbai

Work Mode - Hybrid (3 days from Office weekly)

Shift Timings - UK Shift (12:30 to 10/1:30 to 11 PM IST)

Qualification - CA OR ACCA is a must

Experience - Min 5+ years in UK region into Finance role.

Position Overview – Finance Controller The Finance Controller is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end financial management and control of the business, ensuring accurate reporting, strong governance, and effective financial planning. The role provides leadership across cash management, budgeting and forecasting, operational finance, month-end accounting, and statutory compliance while partnering with senior stakeholders to support strategic decision-making. As a key member of the finance team, the Finance Controller drives financial discipline, process improvements, and operational excellence to support business growth and performance.

Roles & Responsibilities

Financial Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting

- Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting cycles across the business.
- Partner with operational and senior stakeholders to develop accurate budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Monitor financial performance against budget and forecast, providing variance analysis and actionable recommendations.
- Support strategic decision-making through financial modelling and performance analysis.

Financial Reporting & Management Accounting

- Prepare and review monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Manage month-end close activities, including journal postings, reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and financial analysis.
- Provide meaningful financial insights and commentary to management on business performance.
- Maintain the integrity of financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

Cash Flow & Working Capital Management





- Support cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning.
- Monitor cash movements and working capital performance to support business objectives.
- Identify opportunities to improve cash management and financial efficiency.

Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Oversight

- Oversee AP and AR processes, ensuring transactions are processed accurately and within agreed timelines.
- Monitor debtor balances and support effective credit control and collections activities.
- Review payment cycles and supplier balances to ensure efficient working capital management.

Audit & Compliance

- Support statutory audit activities and act as a key contact for auditors where required.
- Ensure compliance with UK accounting standards, financial regulations, and internal policies.
- Prepare audit schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation in a timely manner.
- Assist in strengthening internal controls and governance processes.

Stakeholder Management

- Build strong relationships with senior management and operational teams.
- Present financial information in a clear and concise manner to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
- Provide financial guidance and challenge where appropriate to improve business performance.

Process Improvement

- Identify and implement improvements to financial processes, controls, and reporting.
- Drive standardization, efficiency, and continuous improvement across finance operations.
- Support finance transformation and automation initiatives where applicable.

Skills & Experience

- Completed accounting qualification (ACCA or CA).
- Robust understanding of financial controls, governance, and risk management.
- Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and communicate financial information effectively.
