Role Description The Finance Manager role at Global Business Protocol is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru.

The Finance

Manager will oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting for internal stakeholders and leadership. This role includes managing cash flow, monitoring expenditures, and supporting cost optimization and profitability initiatives.

Manager will maintain compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls, while coordinating with auditors and external financial partners.



Day-to-day responsibilities also involve providing financial insights for strategic decisions, preparing management dashboards, and supporting the development of financial policies and procedures that align with GBP’s performance-focused culture.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Proficiency in accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with financial modeling, cash flow management, and cost control initiatives.
- Comfort with using financial software and advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent communication skills to present financial insights clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and support strategic decision-making.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CPA, CMA, CFA) are an advantage.
- Demonstrated ownership mindset, attention to detail, and commitment to high professional standards.
- Prior experience as a Finance Manager or in a similar senior finance role, preferably in a performance-driven or consulting environment.
