Finance & Commercial Executive:

Location: Delhi/NCR, Hybrid mode available

About the Role

We are looking for a Finance & Commercial Executive who can manage day-to-day financial and commercial activities and work closely with the management, project team, vendors, HR and

Railway stakeholders.The role is not limited to accounting. The candidate will be responsible for financial analysis, commercial proposal vetting, vendor management, project costing, Railway work-order review and management MIS.

Key Responsibilities

- Review and prepare financial and commercial proposals for new projects/orders.
- Analyse project cost, revenue, margin, cash flow and payment terms before accepting an order.
- Review Railway tenders, work orders and commercial terms before signing and highlight financial risks such as LD, retention, security deposit, payment milestones, BG,

warranty and penalties.
- Review and negotiate vendor quotations, POs and commercial terms.
- Verify vendor bills against work orders, milestones and actual work completed.
- Track project-wise expenses, revenue, profitability, receivables and payables.
- Coordinate with project/site teams to understand actual project costs and pending financial obligations.
- Prepare cash-flow statements, MIS and management reports for decision-making.




- Support management in evaluating salary revisions and employee costs based on business performance, orders completed, revenue, collections and profitability.
- Coordinate with the accounts/CA team for GST, TDS, reconciliations, audits and statutory requirements.
- Monitor customer/Railway receivables and vendor payments and support timely collections and payment planning.
- Identify financial/commercial risks and proactively report them to management.

What We Are Looking For

- 2–4 years of experience in finance, commercial, project finance or accounts.
- Strong understanding of accounting, costing, P&L;, cash flow and working capital.
- Good knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets and financial analysis.
- Ability to read and understand tenders, work orders, POs and commercial contracts.
- Experience in vendor management and bill verification.
- Good understanding of GST and TDS.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Experience with Railways, IREPS, GEM, EPC, infrastructure or project-based businesses will be an added advantage.

Important

This is a hands-on role in a growing company. The candidate should be comfortable taking ownership, following up with vendors and internal teams, analysing numbers and raising concerns proactively rather than waiting for instructions.
- A minimum 2-year service commitment/bond is required for this position.
- Salary between 18k-25k (strictly based on experience)
