Job Title: Finance & Accounts Compliance Manager

- Experience: 4–6 years preferred
- Qualification: MBA Finance/ACCA Semiqualified / CA Inter / CA Final Semiqualified / CMA Final Semiqualified
ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are looking for a Finance & Accounts Compliance Manager in our international client Accounts & Compliance Division - primarily for the UK, USA, Europe, Dubai & Hong - Kong including SMEs and Corporates. Strongpractical knowledge of UK accounting and compliance, and proven experience in managing, mentoring, training, and directing finance/accounting teams.
This is a client-facing and team management role based in our Dehradun HQ and offers significant exposure to global markets, financial operations, and leadership responsibilities within a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Reporting, Accounting & Statutory Compliance for international clients:
- Maintain books of accounts, bank reconciliations, and cash flow statements.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L;, Balance Sheet, MIS).
- Handle budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Finalization of accounts for clients across various sectors.
- Review client MIS reports, budgets, and financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with statutory duties of the clients, taxes, direct & indirect etc.
- Coordination with auditors and preparation of audit schedules.
- Monitor receivables, payables, and ensure timely invoicing and collections.
- Manage payroll processing and related statutory compliances according to the geographical requirement of the business.
- Client Engagement/ Project Management
- Supervise client projects, understand consulting needs and manage deliverable timelines and team efficiencies.
- Ensure clients’ compliance with applicable tax laws (Direct and Indirect Tax).
- Liaise with clients to provide advisory on accounting treatments and tax implications.
- Coordinate with internal audit, statutory audit, and tax teams for cross-functional assignments.
3. Team Management & Reporting:
- Lead a team of accountants and finance executives/associates.
- Allocate tasks, review work, and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Report financial performance to the top management.
- Provide training and mentoring to staff on accounting best practices and regulatory changes.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of UK tax and compliance, including HMRC requirements.
- Experience with US accounting and tax compliance is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong technology proficiency, including Google Drive, Microsoft Excel, Tally ERP, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, and similar accounting and productivity software.
- Ability to work effectively in a highly technology-driven and digitally managed environment.
- Ability to independently review and finalise accounts & guide team on client consulting requirements.
- Excellent accounting, financial review, and quality-control skills.
- Strong leadership, team management, mentoring, and team-direction capabilities.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical ability.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong decision-making ability.
- Ability to identify accounting errors, compliance gaps, and financial risks.
- Ability to monitor team productivity, project compliance, and quality standards.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
5 yearsof work experience in UK tax and compliance, Finance, tax or accounting domain,
(incase articleship has been completed then 3 years post articleship experience is sufficient)
- Professional qualification - partially pursued and paused or semiqualified -> (Chartered Accountancy (CA)/Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)/ Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and/or with a Master’s in Finance/Accounts/Tax (preferred), and Bachelor’s (may be considered without a Master’s only if relevant work experience has been taken). Qualified qualification experience is a must.
- Prior experience with client handling and team management is a must.

Salary Range: ₹35,000 -₹40,000/ monthly, based on experience and interview
