About the Role

We're looking for a dynamic, driven Field Sales Officer to expand Smart Node's market presence in Mumbai. This is a high-impact, consultative sales role suited for professionals with strong networks in the home/building design ecosystem, who can bring a passion for smart technology solutions to architects, interior designers, builders, and channel partners across the city.

What You Will Do

- Drive sales in Mumbai through active lead generation, client engagement, and deal closures.
- Promote home and hotel automation solutions (lighting, security, climate control, etc.) to architects, interior designers, builders, and channel partners.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers in the real estate and design ecosystem.




- Conduct client meetings to understand needs and recommend tailored automation solutions.
- Follow up on leads and manage the sales pipeline independently.
- Provide regular updates to the sales head on activities and market trends via digital/Excel-based reporting.
- Represent the brand at trade shows, site meetings, and networking events across Mumbai city.

What We're Looking For

1. 2–5 years of B2B/B2C sales experience - industry background is versatile (e.g., plywood/laminates, lighting/LED, sanitaryware, modular kitchen/furniture, paints/tiles/marble, security systems/CCTV, HVAC, or luxury real estate all welcome).
2. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
3. Self-motivated and confident operating independently in a client-facing, remote-first role.
4. Willing to travel extensively within Mumbai city for client and site meetings.
5. Comfortable managing pipeline and reporting via Excel/digital tools without a dedicated CRM.
