Roles & ResponsibilitiesInstall and activate FTTH/fiber broadband connections at customer premises. Perform fiber cable laying, routing, termination, and internal wiring . Handle fiber splicing and basic fiber-optic testing.
Troubleshoot fiber cuts, low signal, connectivity, and network issues . Use tools such as OTDR, power meter, VFL, and fusion splicer where required. Visit customer locations for installation and complaint resolution.
Check and maintain ONT/ONU, routers, connectors, and other network equipment . Identify faults in the last-mile fiber network and coordinate for rectification. Ensure installations are completed according to ACT quality and safety standards.
Update job status and service details through the company’s mobile/app system. Maintain proper documentation of installations, repairs, and equipment. Travel within the assigned area for customer and network visits
