Position Name: FCS – Car Safety and Comfort

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Automotive Engineering

Experience: 08-10 years

Location: Pune

Purpose of the Position

To coordinate and lead the development of vehicle safety and comfort functions within the CMP21D Cluster. The position ensures integration of key features in KODA/VW-specific models, adherence to EK internal processes, and alignment with functionally oriented and prototype-free development strategies. The role also coordinates with SET teams for validation, ensuring quality, safety, and innovation in functional outcomes.





Authority

Acts as the central authority for coordinating development of vehicle safety and comfort functions within the CMP21D Cluster. Authorizes technical decisions, ensures EK process compliance, represents EK in cross-functional forums, and validates testing outcomes with SET teams.

Vehicle Safety Systems (e.g., ADAS, Passive Safety, Airbag, Braking)

Timely delivery of safety and comfort function development per project schedule.

Adherence to EK processes, standards, and quality norms

Successful coordination and closure of test outcomes with SET teams

Coordination between EK, SET, and other development teams.

Implementation and validation of functions using model-based, virtual, or prototype-free methods.

Contribution to knowledge sharing, process improvement, and team competency enhancement within EK and SET teams.

Optimal utilization of allocated resources and adherence to project budgets
