Provide services in stress and flammability areas throughout the design/development process by performing detailed stress analysis and assessing flammability aerospace interior components and assemblies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
· 0-2 years of experience in stress analysis, structural analysis, or related engineering activities.
· Strong understanding of Strength of Materials, Structural Mechanics, and Engineering Fundamentals.
· Knowledge of any Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software such as ANSYS, Abaqus, HyperMesh, Patran, Femap, or equivalent.
· Hands-on experience with Femap/NX Nastran is an added advantage.
· Develop finite element models and perform linear static stress analysis.
· Perform structural analysis and stress substantiation of components, assemblies, and systems.
· Generate stress reports and engineering calculations to support design validation.
· Create and validate Interface Load Reports (ILR).
· Develop Static Test Plans, including load derivation, test setup definition, and instrumentation requirements.
· Support static testing activities and correlate test results with analytical predictions.
· Review engineering drawings, specifications, and material properties.
· Support design optimization and resolution of structural issues through analysis.
· Exposure to fatigue, vibration, buckling, and damage tolerance analysis is desirable.
· Collaborate with design, testing, manufacturing, and certification teams.
· Robust analytical, problem-solving, communication, and report-writing skills.
· Fresh graduates with relevant academic projects, internships, or FEA experience are encouraged to apply.
