Job Summary The Fire &

- Safety Faculty is responsible for delivering theoretical and practical training in fire safety, industrial safety, emergency management, and occupational health and safety. The faculty member should ensure that students gain the necessary technical knowledge, practical skills, and safety awareness required for careers in fire and safety management.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver lectures on Fire &
- Safety and Industrial Safety

subjects.

- Conduct practical sessions, demonstrations, drills, and safety training.

- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, presentations, assignments, and examinations.

- Teach topics such as:

- Fire Prevention and Protection

- Fire Fighting Techniques

- Fire Safety Equipment and Systems

- Industrial Safety

- Occupational Health &

- Safety

- Emergency Preparedness and Response

- Disaster Management

- Risk Assessment and Hazard Identification

- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

- First Aid and Emergency Procedures

- Safety Rules, Regulations, and Standards

- Conduct fire drills, evacuation drills, and emergency response exercises.

- Demonstrate the correct use of fire extinguishers and other firefighting equipment.

- Evaluate students through examinations, assignments, practical assessments, and projects.





- Monitor student attendance, academic progress, and classroom discipline.

- Provide academic guidance and career-related support to students.

- Maintain academic records, attendance registers, practical records, and examination documents.

- Organize industrial visits, workshops, seminars, and safety awareness programs.

- Coordinate with industry professionals and organizations for practical exposure and internships.

- Ensure that laboratory and practical training activities are conducted safely.

- Stay updated with relevant fire safety codes, occupational safety practices, and industry standards.

- Participate in departmental meetings and other institutional academic activities.

Required Qualifications

- Diploma / Bachelor's / Master's degree in Fire &
- Safety, Fire Engineering, Industrial Safety, or a related field

.

- Relevant industry experience in fire and safety will be an added advantage.

- Teaching or training experience is preferred.

- Positive communication and presentation skills.

- Strong practical knowledge of fire prevention, firefighting, and safety procedures.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
