Role Description The Extended Reality Design Intern will support the design and development of immersive XR experiences, working closely with design and engineering teams in an on-site environment located in Thiruvananthapuram Taluk. This internship role involves assisting with concept development, creating storyboards and interaction flows, and preparing design assets for XR applications. The intern will help prototype user interfaces and environments, participate in user testing sessions, and document feedback to refine designs.

Day-to-day tasks may include collaborating in design reviews, maintaining organized project files,



and researching XR trends, tools, and best practices to inform ongoing projects.

Qualifications

- Foundational knowledge or interest in extended reality (AR/VR/MR) design and immersive media.
- Ability to create visual concepts, storyboards, and basic interaction flows using common design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Illustrator, or similar).
- Comfort with prototyping and testing interactive experiences, including gathering and organizing user feedback.
- Basic familiarity with 3D or game engines (such as Unity or Unreal Engine) is a plus.
- Robust attention to detail, organization, and the ability to follow design guidelines and project processes.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in an on-site team setting.
- Ongoing studies in design, media, human-computer interaction, computer science, or a related field are preferred.
- Demonstrated curiosity about emerging technologies and a willingness to learn new tools and workflows.
