Role Description The Export Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, responsible for overseeing and expanding APPL’s international sales and export operations. This role involves identifying new global markets, managing existing international clients, and coordinating end-to-end export processes, including documentation, compliance, and logistics.

The Export

Manager will develop and implement export strategies, track market trends, and work closely with production, finance, and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries and cost-effective operations. Daily tasks include preparing export quotations, negotiating contracts, monitoring shipment schedules, and ensuring adherence to international trade regulations and quality standards.



The role also requires regular reporting on export performance, margin analysis, and contributing to long-term business planning for international growth.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Export operations, including documentation, compliance, and coordination with freight forwarders and customs agents.
- Candidates should possess skills in International Business and International Trade, with knowledge of global markets, trade regulations, and cross-border partnerships.
- Candidates should possess skills in Sales, with experience in client acquisition, relationship management, negotiation, and revenue growth.
- Candidates should possess skills in Business Planning, including market analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and strategy development for international expansion.
- Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Commerce, Management, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent specialization in international trade is an advantage.
- Experience in packaging, manufacturing, FMCG, or related industries and familiarity with export documentation (INCOTERMS, LC, invoices, packing lists) are highly beneficial.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to manage multiple export accounts, prioritize tasks, and maintain accuracy under time-sensitive conditions.

Salary Range - 4 to 8 LPA depending on Experience
