The Executive

Housekeeper is responsible for leading and managing all housekeeping operations at The Den, Bengaluru, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and safety across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. This full-time, on-site role in Bengaluru involves supervising housekeeping and laundry teams, scheduling staff, assigning duties, and monitoring performance to maintain consistent service quality.

The Executive

Housekeeper will oversee inventory and ordering of linens, cleaning supplies, and guest amenities, and implement efficient cleaning procedures and preventive maintenance in coordination with other departments.



The role includes training and coaching team members, conducting inspections, addressing guest feedback, and collaborating closely with Front Office and Engineering to support smooth daily operations and guest satisfaction.

Housekeeper is also expected to uphold brand standards, ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and contribute to continuous improvement of departmental processes.

Qualifications

- Solid housekeeping and Laundry management skills, with experience overseeing room, public area, and back-of-house cleanliness in a hotel or similar environment.
- Excellent Communication and Customer Service abilities to interact effectively with guests, team members, and other departments, handling feedback and resolving issues promptly.
- Proven Organization Skills, including staff scheduling, task assignment, inventory control, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Experience in Training housekeeping and laundry team members, developing standard operating procedures, and supporting ongoing skill enhancement.
- Prior leadership experience as Executive Housekeeper or Housekeeping Supervisor in upscale or luxury hotels is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of housekeeping equipment, cleaning products, safety protocols, and hygiene standards relevant to hospitality operations.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, based on hotel operational needs.
- Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management or a related field is an advantage; equivalent work experience will be considered.
