About the Role

Hotel Golden Peacock is looking for an experienced Executive Chef to manage day-to-day kitchen operations and maintain consistent standards of food quality, hygiene, and service.

The ideal candidate should have strong kitchen management skills, leadership ability, and practical knowledge of food costing, inventory, and kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily kitchen operations and coordinate smooth food service.
- Maintain consistent standards for food quality, taste, presentation, and portion control.
- Plan, review, and update menus based on the restaurant's requirements and customer preferences.
- Monitor food costs, inventory levels, purchasing, and food wastage.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and follow applicable food safety and hygiene practices.
- Supervise, guide, and support kitchen team members.
- Assist with staff training and development as required.
- Coordinate with the restaurant management and other departments to support efficient operations.
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and preparation of food items.




- Help maintain kitchen equipment and operational standards.

Requirements
- Previous experience in an Executive Chef, Head Chef, Sous Chef, or similar senior kitchen role.
- Good knowledge of food preparation and professional kitchen operations.
- Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.
- Working knowledge of food costing, inventory, and wastage control.
- Good understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene.
- Ability to manage kitchen operations in a busy hospitality environment.
- Culinary or hospitality qualification is preferred but not mandatory.
