Event Sales Manager

About the Role

We’re looking for an Event Sales Manager to generate business for corporate events, conferences, exhibitions, product launches, and social gatherings. You will acquire clients, develop tailored event proposals, close bookings, and coordinate with the event operations team to deliver on client expectations.

Responsibilities

- Identify recent sales opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and industry events.
- Build relationships with corporate clients, agencies, and event decision-makers.
- Understand client requirements, budgets, timelines, and event objectives.
- Prepare and present customized proposals, packages, and quotations.
- Conduct client meetings, venue visits, and sales presentations.
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms within approved guidelines and close bookings.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets while maintaining profitability.
- Coordinate confirmed bookings and client requirements with the event planning and operations teams.
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, CRM records,



and revenue forecasts.
- Coordinate payment follow-ups with the finance team.
- Gather client feedback and generate repeat bookings and referrals.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, Event Management, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven sales experience in events, hospitality, venues, or a related industry.
- Track record of meeting sales targets and managing client relationships.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Ability to prepare proposals, assess budgets, and manage multiple opportunities.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
- Willingness to travel and attend occasional evening or weekend events.
