Hiring – Estimation Engineer
Location: Dahisar, Mumbai
Openings: 3 (2 Junior & 1 Senior)
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech (Mechanical)
CTC: Up to ₹7 LPA
Experience: 1–7 Years
Role Purpose:
To prepare techno-commercial proposals and BOQs by understanding customer requirements, ensuring accuracy, commercial viability, and timely submission while adhering to company processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Study tender documents, RFQs, and customer requirements in detail.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Coordinate with the Purchase team for raw material pricing and resolve estimation-related queries.
Work closely with Sales for RFQ costing, negotiation margins, and commercial considerations.
Coordinate with the Logistics team for freight calculations, INCOTERMS compliance, and DDP delivery costing.
Respond to technical queries raised by clients and revise quotations whenever required.
Provide technical support to the Sales team and recommend feasible deviations based on manufacturing capabilities.
Review customer orders, study terms & conditions, and highlight discrepancies before execution.
Prepare profit breakups and calculate overall order profitability.
Prepare BOQs and Work Orders and coordinate with the Design team for fabrication drawings.
Coordinate with Production teams to resolve fabrication drawing-related queries.
Maintain proper documentation of proposals, quotations, revisions, work orders, and drawings.
Required Knowledge & Skills:
✔ AutoCAD drawing and plotting knowledge
✔ Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications
✔ Knowledge of ASTM, BS, API and other international standards
✔ Understanding of costing, estimation, BOQ preparation, and commercial aspects
✔ Robust coordination and communication skills
✔ Mechanical Engineering background
