Role Description The Entrepreneur in Residence at SGF Labs is a full-time, on-site position based in Kochi. This role focuses on identifying and shaping new ventures, products, and service lines aligned with client and internal innovation goals. The Entrepreneur in Residence will design and validate business models, run pilots, and collaborate with strategy, design, and technology teams to turn concepts into viable offerings.

Daily responsibilities include conducting market and customer research, framing hypotheses, building minimum viable products, tracking performance metrics, and iterating quickly based on feedback. The role also involves mentoring teams, contributing to thought leadership, and supporting business development conversations where entrepreneurial insight adds value.





Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong entrepreneurial skills, including venture building, opportunity evaluation, and experience taking ideas from concept to launch.
- Candidates should possess strategic skills, such as business strategy development, market analysis, and the ability to design and test business models.
- Candidates should possess innovation and product skills, including hypothesis-driven experimentation, MVP design, pilot management, and rapid iteration based on data and feedback.
- Candidates should possess communication and collaboration skills, such as transparent written and verbal communication, stakeholder management, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Candidates should possess digital and analytical skills, including comfort with AI-enabled tools, data-driven decision-making, and familiarity with digital products or technology-led solutions.
- Relevant experience in startups, consulting, product management, or corporate innovation programs is highly beneficial.
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, engineering, design, or a related field is preferred, along with a demonstrated track record of building or scaling initiatives.
- Ability to work on-site in Kochi, operate with autonomy, and thrive in a fast-paced, experiment-driven environment.
