– ENGLISH TEACHER (PUC)

Position: English Teacher

Department: Pre-University College (PUC)

Location: Bengaluru

Reporting To: Principal / Head of Department

Key Responsibilities

- Teach English to PUC students as per the prescribed syllabus and curriculum.
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective classroom lessons.
- Develop students’ grammar, vocabulary, communication, reading, writing, and comprehension skills.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, and assessments.
- Conduct regular tests, evaluate student performance, and provide constructive feedback.
- Support students in improving their academic performance and communication skills.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning workplace.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, academic activities, examinations, and departmental meetings.
- Maintain required academic records and student progress reports.
- Support college events,



co-curricular activities, and other institutional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualification
- M.A. in English with B.Ed. preferred.
- Candidates with relevant PUC teaching experience will be preferred.

Skills & Competencies
- Strong command of English language and grammar.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Good classroom management skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate PUC students.
- Strong lesson planning and assessment skills.
- Student-focused approach with good interpersonal skills.

Experience 2–5 years of teaching experience, preferably in PUC / Pre-University education.

Immediate joiners preferred.

Pay: ₹10,748.04 - ₹33,792.69 per month
