We are looking for a Transport Router to manage and optimize employee transportation operations. The candidate will be responsible for route planning, trip scheduling, roster management, vehicle utilization, and ensuring smooth transport operations while maintaining service quality and cost efficiency. The candidate should have hands-on experience with the MoveInSync application and employee transportation processes.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Create and manage daily transport routes based on employee rosters and business requirements.
- Perform route optimization to ensure efficient vehicle utilization and cost control.
- Manage employee transportation schedules, pickups, and drop-offs.
- Monitor transport operations and address any route deviations or delays.
- Coordinate with transport vendors, drivers, and internal stakeholders.
- Handle transport-related escalations and provide timely resolutions.
- Ensure adherence to transportation SOPs, safety guidelines,
and compliance requirements.
- Monitor On-Time Arrival (OTA) and service-level metrics.
- Generate and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
- Support shift planning and transportation coverage for 24/7 operations.
- Manage transport-related tickets, emails, and employee queries.
- Ensure proper route handovers and operational continuity across shifts.
Required Skills
- Solid knowledge of transport routing and employee transportation operations.
- Hands-on experience with the MoveInSync application.
- Experience in route planning, route optimization, and roster management.
- Good understanding of fleet management and vehicle deployment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts and handle operational escalations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline.
- 4+ years of experience in employee transportation.
- Familiarity with transport MIS reporting and vendor management.
