Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Embedded C++ Lead to design, develop, and deliver high-quality embedded software solutions for automotive applications. The candidate will lead a team of engineers and be responsible for software architecture, design, development, integration, and validation activities across the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead embedded software development activities using C++ for automotive ECUs and embedded systems.
- Design, develop, review, and optimize embedded software architecture and application software.
- Guide the team on software design, coding standards, and best practices.
- Perform code reviews and ensure compliance with MISRA C/C++ guidelines.
- Work closely with system, hardware, validation, and integration teams.
- Develop software for microcontroller-based systems running RTOS/Linux environments.
- Support software integration, debugging, and issue resolution.
- Participate in requirement analysis, effort estimation, and technical discussions with customers.
- Mentor and technically guide junior engineers.
- Ensure compliance with ASPICE, Functional Safety (ISO 26262), and automotive development processes.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong programming experience in Embedded C++.
- Hands-on experience with Contemporary C++ (C++11/14/17).
- Strong understanding of OOP, STL, Design Patterns, Memory Management, and Multithreading.
- Experience in Embedded Systems, RTOS, Linux Embedded Systems, or AUTOSAR.
- Automotive communication protocols such as CAN, CAN FD, LIN, Ethernet.
- Diagnostics protocols such as UDS.
- Experience with software debugging and performance optimization.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
Preferred Skills
- AUTOSAR Architecture (Classic or Adaptive).
- Device Driver Development.
- HIL/SIL Testing.
- CI/CD, Git, Jenkins.
- ASPICE and ISO 26262 knowledge.
- Experience in ADAS, Infotainment, Body Electronics, Powertrain, or Telematics domains.
