Job Summary

We are looking for a technically competent Electrical Engineer – Maintenance to ensure the reliable and safe operation of electrical systems, machines, utilities, and plant equipment. The role will be responsible for preventive maintenance, breakdown troubleshooting, electrical system monitoring, and continuous improvement of maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems, machines, and plant equipment.
- Troubleshoot and rectify electrical faults in CNC/VMC machines, production equipment, motors, control panels, PLCs, drives, sensors, and related systems.
- Monitor and maintain HT/LT electrical systems, transformers, DG sets, MCC/PCC panels, distribution systems, and power supply systems.
- Attend electrical breakdowns promptly and ensure minimum machine downtime.
- Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules and maintain proper maintenance records.
- Identify recurring electrical failures and implement suitable root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Coordinate with Production, Engineering, and other departments for maintenance activities and machine availability.
- Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of industrial electrical installations and utilities.
- Support installation, commissioning, modification,



and relocation of electrical equipment and machinery.
- Maintain adequate inventory of critical electrical spares and coordinate with stores/purchase for timely availability.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety procedures, statutory requirements, and company safety standards.
- Follow proper LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) and safe working practices during maintenance activities.
- Maintain maintenance reports, breakdown records, PM checklists, and equipment history.
- Identify opportunities for energy saving, reliability improvement, and reduction of breakdowns.
- Coordinate with external service providers/contractors for specialized electrical maintenance and equipment servicing.
- Participate in audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Technical Skills

- Good knowledge of industrial electrical maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of AC/DC motors, starters, contactors, relays, VFDs, PLCs, sensors, and control circuits.
- Knowledge of HT/LT panels, MCC, PCC, transformers, DG sets, and electrical distribution systems.
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and control schematics.




- Basic knowledge of PLC troubleshooting and industrial automation will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of electrical safety practices and maintenance procedures.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Qualification & Experience

- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics

Engineering (EEE) / Electrical Engineering.

- 2–5 years of relevant experience in industrial electrical maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in aerospace, automotive, engineering, or precision manufacturing industries will be an added advantage.

Location Preference Candidates from Salem and Hosur locations will be preferred.

Other Requirements

- Willingness to work in shifts, if required.
- Willingness to attend emergency/breakdown maintenance requirements based on plant operations.
- Candidates should have positive knowledge of industrial electrical maintenance and safety practices.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
