Job Responsibilities:

- Lead electrical shift maintenance activities for FAU furnaces, ancillary units, machinery & equipment.

- Handle preventive, breakdown and ad-hoc electrical maintenance.

- Manage technicians/operators, manpower allocation, work orders and maintenance schedules.

- Troubleshoot HT/LT systems, motors, transformers, panels, drives and furnace-related electrical equipment.

- Ensure timely maintenance with minimum impact on production.

- Maintain maintenance records, KPIs, reports and documentation.

- Coordinate with Operations, Technical Services, Purchase, Stores, vendors and contractors.

- Ensure compliance with electrical safety, SOPs, PTW/LOTO and statutory requirements.

- Support cost reduction, process improvement and maintenance optimization.

Educational Qualification

- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering

- Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering / Production Engineering or equivalent relevant qualification

- Candidates with relevant Diploma in Electrical Engineering may also be considered based on experience.

Preferred: 3+ years of electrical maintenance experience in a Steel Plant / Ferro Alloy Plant, preferably with SAF/Ferro Alloy Furnace experience.
