S&O; Maritime Services Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a motivated Electrical Design / Drafting professional to join our engineering team in Aluva, Kochi, Kerala.

Position: Electrical Draughtsman / Junior Electrical Engineer

Department: Electrical Engineering

Location: Aluva, Kochi, Kerala

Employment Type: Full-Time

Experience: 0–3 Years

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare electrical drawings using AutoCAD.
- Prepare and update Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), wiring diagrams and electrical layout drawings.
- Prepare cable schedules and load schedules.
- Perform basic cable sizing, load and voltage-drop calculations.
- Select suitable breakers, cables and electrical equipment.
- Prepare BOMs and material lists.
- Coordinate with other engineering departments.
- Update drawings based on client, consultant and class comments.
- Support senior engineers in design activities and project documentation.

Requirements




- Diploma / ITI Electrical & Electronics Engineering or related field.
- Valuable knowledge of AutoCAD and electrical drafting.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems, cables, breakers and protection devices.
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings.
- Good coordination and documentation skills.
- Freshers with relevant knowledge may also apply.
