Electrical Site Supervisor

Location: Kolkata, West Bengal

Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month

Work Location: Primarily Kolkata; travel to other project sites may be required

Job Summary

We are looking for an Electrical Site Supervisor who can take responsibility for the day-to-day execution of electrical work at project sites.

The primary responsibility of this role will be to manage and guide the site labour team, ensure that electrical work is completed correctly and within the given timeline, and coordinate effectively with clients and the project team.

The candidate should be comfortable working at sites, managing manpower, and taking ownership of completing assigned electrical works on time.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate electrical installation and site execution work.
- Manage electricians, helpers, and other site labour to ensure work progresses as planned.
- Ensure assigned electrical work is completed within the required timeline.
- Allocate daily work to labourers and monitor their productivity and progress.
- Check the quality and proper execution of electrical work at the site.
- Read and understand basic electrical drawings, layouts, and work instructions.
- Coordinate with the project engineer regarding site requirements and work progress.
- Coordinate directly with clients at the site regarding work progress, requirements, and day-to-day site matters.
- Communicate site issues, material requirements, manpower requirements, and progress updates to the concerned team.
- Ensure required electrical materials, tools, and manpower are available for smooth execution.
- Maintain daily work progress and manpower records.
- Ensure workers follow proper safety practices and site discipline.




- Identify delays or execution issues and take timely action to keep the work on schedule.
- Travel to other project sites when required.

Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in site supervision is required.
- ITI / Diploma in Electrical or a related technical field preferred.
- Experience in electrical site work, electrical installation, or project execution will be preferred.
- Good practical understanding of electrical installation and site execution.
- Ability to manage electricians, helpers, and labourers effectively.
- Ability to plan daily work and ensure completion within deadlines.
- Good communication and coordination skills, particularly for dealing with clients and site teams.
- Responsible, disciplined, and capable of taking ownership of site work.
- Willingness to travel to other project locations when required.

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month, depending on qualification and relevant experience.
