Chhaya Prakashani is hiring Editorial Assistants / Editors – Physics / Chemistry / Mathematics for its Competitive Preparation publishing team .

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Salt Lake Sector V, Kolkata .
The selected candidates will primarily work on the development and editorial preparation of Science books and study materials for competitive examinations .
The role will involve reviewing, proofreading, and editing manuscripts; checking content for accuracy; supporting content development; and coordinating with authors and internal teams throughout the publication process.
Qualifications -
- Must hold both a B.Sc and an M.Sc degree in Physics, Chemistry, or Mathematics .
- Strong command of written Bengali and English is required.
- Strong understanding of science-based academic content and the ability to review and verify it accurately.
- Familiarity with competitive examination-level content and study materials will be an advantage.
- Positive attention to detail and the ability to identify errors and inconsistencies in content.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with authors and internal teams.
- Basic computer proficiency and comfort working with word-processing and editing tools.
Additional Advantages -
- Prior experience in teaching, tutoring, academic content development, editing, or publishing.
