Key Responsibilities

- Develop architectural door hardware sets, schedules, and specifications in accordance with project requirements and standards such as EN, ANSI, and BHMA.
- Provide technical solutions and guidance to architects on door hardware applications and product selection.
- Review and interpret architectural drawings, door schedules, specifications, security plans, and access control requirements.
- Coordinate door hardware requirements with access control, electrical, security, MEP, and specialty door systems.
- Participate in project coordination meetings and resolve hardware-related technical issues.
- Review material submittals, shop drawings, and technical documentation and provide comments.
- Ensure compliance with relevant IBC, NFPA, EN, ANSI, and BHMA standards.
- Maintain knowledge of architectural hardware products, manufacturers,



technologies, and market developments.
- Provide technical guidance and training to project teams and stakeholders when required.

Qualification & Experience

- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in architectural door hardware, architectural hardware consultancy, door hardware specification, or a related building/construction setting.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electronic door hardware and access control solutions.
- Good understanding of wood, steel, aluminium, glass, fire-rated, and specialty doors.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, floor plans, door schedules, and security/access control plans.
- Knowledge of international building codes and standards, particularly IBC and NFPA.
- Basic understanding of electrical and electronic components related to door hardware and access control.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
- DHI / DOIT / GAI certification would be an advantage.
- Strong communication, coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
