About the role

Diploma Engineer Trainees (DET) – Mechanical & Fitter to join our manufacturing plant at Kallakal. This is a outstanding opportunity for freshers or early-career diploma holders to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and build a career in production, maintenance or tool & die operations.

What you'll do

- Assist in day-to-day mechanical maintenance, fitting and assembly activities on the shop floor
- Support machine operators and senior engineers in installation, servicing and troubleshooting of plant machinery and equipment
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, and carry out basic fitting, alignment and assembly work
- Learn and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety norms and quality standards on the production floor
- Support preventive and breakdown maintenance activities to minimise machine downtime
- Maintain daily production,



maintenance and inspection records
- Work closely with supervisors and cross-functional teams to understand plant operations end-to-end

What we're looking for
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, or ITI in Fitter trade
- Freshers welcome; prior workshop, internship or industrial-training exposure is a plus
- Basic understanding of mechanical tools, fitting techniques and engineering drawings
- Willingness to work in a shop-floor/manufacturing environment, including shift-based work
- Good learning attitude, discipline and safety consciousness
